1. Who We Are

April 21 Studio is an independent game studio based in Melbourne, Australia. We develop and publish the mobile game “Logo Quiz – Guess Brand Trivia” (the “Game”) and operate logoquiz.online plus related sub-domains (collectively, the “Site”). The Game and the Site are referred to together as the “Services”. We are committed to protecting personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) and other applicable laws.

2. Information We Collect

We endeavour to collect only the information that is reasonably necessary to provide and improve the Services:

• Usage & Device Data (Game) – anonymous device identifier, OS version, language, gameplay session length, interactions and crash logs. Collected via Google Play Services solely for analytics and debugging.
• Progress Data – locally stored level progress, coins and achievements. Synced to your Google account only if you choose to enable cloud-save.
• Support Data – name, email address and any other information you voluntarily include when contacting support@logoquiz.online.
• Website Cookies & Similar Technologies – see our separate Cookie Policy. Essential cookies remember your preferences; optional Analytics and Marketing cookies are set only with your consent.

We do not collect sensitive information (e.g. health, biometric or financial data) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

3. How We Use Information

We use information for the following legitimate purposes:

1. To operate the Services – deliver gameplay, save progress and enable multiplayer leaderboards.
2. To improve and personalise – analyse aggregate usage trends to balance game difficulty, fix bugs and localise content.
3. To provide support – respond to enquiries within two business days.
4. To comply with legal obligations – maintain records required under Australian consumer and taxation laws.

4. Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share limited data with trusted partners strictly for the purposes outlined above:

• Google LLC – Google Play Services (achievements, crash reporting and optional analytics).
• Cloudflare, Inc. – We route all web traffic through Cloudflare’s global content-delivery network for performance optimisation and DDoS protection. Cloudflare may set __cf_bm, cf_clearance and similar security cookies that are classified as Essential.
• Email Service Providers – outgoing support emails are processed by Microsoft Outlook 365 (Australia East region).
• Where required by law or to protect our rights, we may disclose information to Australian regulatory bodies or law-enforcement agencies.

5. International Transfers

Some service providers (e.g. Cloudflare, Google) operate servers in multiple jurisdictions including the United States, Singapore and the EU. When we transfer personal information outside Australia, we take reasonable steps under APP 8 to ensure the recipient provides a level of protection that is comparable to the APPs.

6. Data Retention & Security

Gameplay analytics are retained for 24 months, then aggregated or deleted. Support emails are retained for up to 3 years for audit purposes. We employ industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Cloudflare’s Web Application Firewall and Rate Limiting features help mitigate malicious traffic.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access – request copies of personal information we hold about you.
• Correction – ask us to update inaccurate details.
• Deletion – request erasure of support data or analytics identifiers.
• Withdraw consent – disable optional cookies via the banner or in-app analytics in Settings.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Game is rated “Everyone” (Equivalent to PG) but is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information without parental consent, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect operational or legal changes. Material changes will be announced via an in-app notice and on this page at least 7 days prior to taking effect.
